What is Color Analysis?
The 12-season color analysis system builds on the classic four-season color theory (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter) by adding two extra layers of nuance: value (light vs. deep) and chroma (soft vs. bright).
Undertone (Warm vs. Cool) identifies the yellow/golden or pink/blue base of your natural coloring.
Value (Light vs. Deep) pinpoints whether your features perform best with lighter or darker shades.
Chroma (Soft vs. Bright) reveals if your coloring shines in muted hues or clear, vivid tones.
By combining these three dimensions, you arrive at one of 12 distinct “seasons” (for example, Light Spring or Deep Winter), each with its own harmonizing palette.
Correctly identifying your personal color season (and sub season!) and using it to inform decisions about your wardrobe, hair, makeup, and accessories can build confidence through an effortless, harmonious personal style.
About Megan
Hi there! I’m Megan! I’m a Seattle native whose curiosity about color and design ignited as soon as I could hold a crayon. Growing up in a family that moved coast to coast taught me to find beauty in every culture—and to help others feel at home in their own skin.
An early fascination with color led me to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art from the University of Georgia, including studies on color theory and composition. This education has fueled nearly a decade-long career as an award-winning designer. My background in architecture & design, and my meticulous attention to detail lends itself well to color analysis theory. I am trained in the 12-season color analysis method and believe draping should be fun, inclusive, and exploratory.
Empowering others is at the heart of everything I do. When guiding a client through their personal color consult, my goal is always the same: to help each person step confidently into the world as their most authentic, radiant self. I can’t wait to meet you and help you discover your personalized color season!
